With Winter almost at a close, our skin will be rejoicing when the Spring weather eventually kicks in.  But, the cold and dry weather really has affected our skin and a change in season doesn’t miraculously heal all wounds.  

At Bayeco, we care about your skin health and want to provide you with some Pharmacist recommendations on combating that dull, winter skin.  Not only is your skin care key to achieving that luminous healthy glow, there are other factors at play that help in achieving this goal.

Combat dull, winter skin with 6 easy steps:

1. Fish Oil Tablets
Fish oil can help heal and prevent niggling skin issues, and increase skin elasticity.  This miracle oil restores moisture to the skin and is great anti-inflammatory too.

2. Probiotics
Probiotics is a great all-round skin pleaser as it helps boost gut health, and helps build the immune system

3. Skin Care with Active Ingredients
Not only is what you consume key to achieving skin health, the skin care that you use is also critical.  Choose skin care with active ingredients that include:

Kakadu Plum - this small, but mighty plant found in Northern Australia is a superstar in ensuring your skin is glowy, soother and hydrated.  It is the world’s richest source of vitamin c, which helps with collagen production and brightening

Green Tea - not only is green tea a great winter drink, it is also extremely beneficial to skin health.  Green tea is rich in antioxidants, which protects the skin from free radical damage.  It is also great for anti-ageing because of it’s rich antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties

5. Foods
Eating foods rich in antioxidants, zinc and vitamins is a sure fire winner to aid your skin during these cooler months.  For example, avocados are loaded with antioxidants and good fats, pumpkin seeks are high in zinc which encourages collagen production and almost are rich in vitamin e, which is a great antioxidant and helps soften the skin.  

6. Hydrating Masks
